Project Description

This project introduce a non-invasive tool for diagnosis and prognosis of different skin lesions based on tissue light interaction and images processing, combined in an automated system to avoid probability of wrong diagnosis by naked eye. To design this automated system, we used light sources and digital camera then analyzed the images by the software. Once, the images are captured it will be analyzed to extract special features for analysis. As a result of the analysis the system can detect wrinkle, pigmentation, sunburn ,acne,white and black heads , pores then estimate the incidence rate of the disease. This system is used mainly in dermatology and cosmetic field without the need to take biopsy of skin to make diagnoses and enable doctors to describe the right treatment and prognosis for early detection of diseases
